Review: Stitch Fix #5

Another day, another Stitch Fix! (Want to read about the previous four? Go for it.) I was sick when I received this Stitch Fix, so there are no photos with me in them.  Ready to see what was in this Fix and what I kept? (I always like to know what you think I should’ve kept, as well!)

SUTRO HI-LO SHORT SLEEVE SWEATER, $28

No. No. Move on. I hate how this looked in the box and more so on me. Weird fit, weird cut, weird shirt. No.

BEV ABSTRACT DIAMOND PRINT FIT & FLARE DRESS, $58

I love this dress and the skirt really does an awesome flare. I tried it on with a bright yellow belt and loved that pop of color with the brown. The top was a bit tight, so I emailed Stitch Fix to see if it was available in a medium.

RONELLE IKAT PRINT DRESS, $48

Love the print of this dress! I don’t always love ikat, but this is great. Again, a little tight in the chest and pretty short. It was suggested that it be worn with leggings, but I’m not really a leggings person. I was to be able to wear it on its own.

GIANNA SOLID FLUTTER SLEEVE PEPLUM BLOUSE, $48

I immediately loved the color but didn’t think I’d like the cut. I did! It was also tight in the chest, so I emailed to request a medium in this, as well.

ANILA FLORAL PRINT FLUTTER SLEEVE BLOUSE, $48

Oh man, this shirt. I knew immediately when I pulled it out that it wouldn’t work, but I wanted it to SO BADLY. Black? Check! Pops of color in pink and purple? Love! But those cap shoulders … nope. Can’t do it. My shoulders look massive and it’s just not cute.

I waited to hear back from Stitch Fix and it turns out that there were no mediums in the jewel-colored peplum top, but there was a medium in the Bev dress, so I’m going with that one! I’m ok with spending a little more (yes, $58 is a little more to me) because I have a $25 referral credit this month. (If you don’t know about Stitch Fix’s referral program , check it out. It’s awesome.)

Stitch Fix is also doing a great program where you send clothes you don’t want to thredUP and if they keep any, you get Stitch Fix credit. I don’t have much to send, but hopefully I can get a few dollars in credits!
