Review: February Birchbox

birchbox review

I love it when I get six things in my Birchbox (<– referral link)! ‘Twas a good month in Birchbox world:

Gilchrist & Soames London Collection shower gel: Ohh, I like this. I don’t think that I could pay $16 for shower gel, but I really, really like this. It’s definitely the kind of shower gel I’d steal from a nice hotel that my employer was paying for me to stay in.

Benefit Posiebalm: You may have gotten me again, Birchbox. I think I’ve found another item that will be a full-size purchase. This lip tint is buttery and pretty and sweet and lovely. Win, win, win.

Harvey Prince Hello perfume: Ugh, a perfume. And not one that I love. That’s ok, we can’t win them all.

Marchelle gentle eye makeup remover for sensitive eyes: YES! I had JUST run out of my eye makeup remover and was planning to buy more, but Marchelle to the rescue. It’s not quite as luxurious as my beloved Lancome, but it’s pretty close.

Davines MINU shampoo: I don’t really like to get shampoo because I have a shampoo that I like, but travel sizes are always good to throw in my gym bag or use on days when I don’t plan to style my hair.

Davines MINU hair serum: This is a nice lightweight serum that helps tame the ridiculous flyaways that I’m dealing with in winter. Not quite good enough to buy as a full-size item, but doing a decent job as a sample.

Pretty good job this month, Birchbox! I plan to buy a few things in the next month or so: The Benefit Posiebalm, my amazing Liz Earle face cleanser, and this gorgeous Ruffian nail polish.

Any good samples in your Birchbox?
