Getting back on the [healthy] bandwagon

So on Monday I mentioned that this needs to happen. And then I left you hangin’. Am I doing it? Did I just write about it and take a nap?

Oh, I should take a nap.

Anyway, no. I went to the gym. I have a free one-month MAC membership, so I hopped on the treadmill and logged a 5K (3.1 miles). I created a treadmill workout that I’ll share shortly (similar to this one from Carrots ‘n Cake).

I also went to the gym on Tuesday AND today! (Didn’t see that coming, did you?) I was only able to squeeze in 2 miles yesterday but then I did 3 today. (Tuesday’s 2 were while watching some SUV and let me tell you, Benson and Stabler are awesome but not great running motivation.)

I also tried Gundalow Juice, which is a locally created juice company. Monday was Sailor’s Delight (see pic) and today I went for Greens So Great, which was made of apple, spinach, celery, cucumber, lemon, ginger. They’re pretty pricey ($7.95/bottle!!), but really delicious.

(OH YEAH, IMPORTANT. I’m not crazy. I don’t think I’m fat or anything. I’m not just drinking juices. My jeans are just tight. I need to lose a few so I don’t have to buy new ones. ’tis life.)

I’m paying more attention to my steps on Fitbit and I use MyFitnessPal to track my food, so I splurged on a MFP coach. After working at Medifast for years, I know how much having someone to be accountable to can help. So my pal Kerry and I are going to do this!
